Amber Davies in tears following ear surgery 'after years of insecurity'

The Love Island star his heading to the stage in 9 to 5 The Musical, so looked to have corrective surgery first Love Island star Amber Davies was reduced to tears due to the agony of having ear surgery, following years of insecurity about her features.
The former reality TV star went under the knife to have her ears pinned back in the build-up to her appearing in London's West End, when she joins the cast of 9 to 5 The Musical.
Documenting the switch to the stage in a one-off TV documentary, Amber & Dolly 9 to 5, the 22-year-old former Love Islander is seen crying as she defends the operation and claims she is "promoting plastic surgery".
Speaking in the docu, Amber says: "I'm on my way to get my ears pulled back this afternoon which is scary.
"I will probably be criticised for getting it done. People will be like, 'Oh you're promoting plastic surgery.'
"I'm not, I'm not promoting anything. It's for my own insecurity. It's something I've wanted done for ages. I hate my ears, I hate them."
Speaking to the camera, Amber says: "It's been six hours since my operation and I'm in so much pain because the anaesthetic is wearing off a little bit.
"I can feel everything now and it's so painful. My mum's come down to London to help me. I'm in so much pain.
"But hopefully it will be worth it."
If it has caused such insecurity issues in the past, the short-term pain Amber undergoes will hopefully be outweighed by the lifetime of feeling better about herself.
